Brown Brothers Patricia Shiraz (King Valley) 2015

Brown Brothers Patricia Shiraz (King Valley) 2015

Displaying a concentrated palate of dark berry fruits with spice and pepper aromas. This beautifully bold wine embodies what our winemaking team strive for in making quality Shiraz.

Tannins are well integrated and approachable, with sumptuous mouthfeel and rewarding fleshy depths, making the ideal partner to lamb, scented with fresh garlic and rosemary.

Recommended food pairings: This wine would make a perfect partner for slow-cooked lamb and winter vegetables. Or why not try it with a grilled eye fillet of beef with a pear sauce and rocket, parmesan salad.

The Patricia Shiraz is also a fantastic match with wash rind cheeses or dark chocolate.

Growing Conditions: The fruit was harvested in parcels from late March to April at baumés between 13.2 and 14.2.

Winemaker: Geoff Alexander

Winemaking notes: The parcels spent 18 months in 40% new French (15%) and American (35%) oak with the balance in older oak barriques and puncheons before bottling.
