Miss Kitty & The Memphis Trio are an engaging energetic outfit, that has to be seen live to really experience the colour and fun we inject into these fabulous tunes from the 1950s.
The Band was born out of a passion for early 50s music. As lead guitarist Mark will tell you. Its about playing a style of music that fits well in nearly all situations.
From the beat and energy of rock & Roll & rockabilly, to the Cruisey sounds of Western Swing. All delivered by the dynamic vocals of Karen Ritchens ( Miss Kitty).
Songs by artists such as Johhny Burnette, Carl Perkins, Patsy Cline, Wanda Jackson, early Elvis, Brenda Lee, Eddie Cochran, and the bands original material.
